One recent example, is a wire edm shop faced with the task of cutting 6" tall stainless tubing; approximately .625" diameter with a .3125" ID. The customer was faced with wire-cutting dovetail shapes thru the length of the I.D. of the stainless tubing. Getting the components on and off the machine quickly and accurately was of great importance to this user.
To make a long story very short, the customer stated that their production time (i.e. wire cutting) was reduced by 50% on these workpieces by using the Mega Cut D wire.
