Just wanted to throw in another testimonial on Gisco/Bedra's Mega Cut D coated edm wire that a new customer purchased from us.

This customer's initial concerns were to be competitive with a nearby wire edm shop, meaning he wanted to cut faster on his jobs, which would help get more work for his shop. Obviously, that's what all of us want, more work, i.e. more sales and increased profits.

This particular customer is running an ONA wire edm system, and the range of parts that he wire-cuts goes from very thin to very thick (example: 6" tall tool steel). The customer currently uses brass wire, but again his goal was to get the parts on the machine, and off the machine quicker.

So this customer gambled, purchased the Mega Cut D Wire (which is more expensive than brass edm wire) a couple of weeks ago, and his first test cuts dealt with 1.25" tall tool steel workpieces.

With the Mega Cut D wire, he's able to cut (in his words) three times faster on some thin (1.25" thick) tool steel components using the Mega Cut D wire. He didn't see/realize any wire breakage problems, tolerances were maintained, and his finishes were excellent.

That's his initial test, but the good test comes later this week when he attacks some 6" tall workpieces!

We'll keep you informed of the results, with maybe more details on his results. I would say that if you faced with similar daily cutting problems as this customer, maybe you should roll the dice, and see how the Mega Cut D wire performs for your company.
